The entire process you have to follow here is actually quite simple and easy to understand. We have to preface this and let you know that AliExpress doesn’t have any official extension for this, so you will have to use a third party.
- Go to Google and type in “invoice for AliExpress” and browse the various extensions that appear. Ali Billing is one of the options and we will use that as an example here, but generally you can find a plethora of them.
- Browse the results and see which one fits your needs the most. You will need one that offers support for the formats you need. Add the desired extension to the browser.
- With the extension you can get to the order page on AliExpress and here you can see that at the bottom the extension adds its own button for generating an extension.
- The extension redirects you to the page where you can see the invoice generated according to the order info. The Options page is where you can fill the details and then you can save or print the invoice as you see fit. This entire process is fast, convenient and you can avoid any issues by saving all your invoices anywhere you want.
Contacting the seller
AliExpress is unable to offer you any invoice because they protect the data and also keep the platform running. Which is why the seller is the one that needs to offer you an invoice. What you want to do is to contact the seller and ask them for an invoice specifically. Many sellers will create one for you. If you want to obtain the customs invoice, you can use invoice software. Check its reviews beforehand to be safe.
The invoice should have things like the invoice issue date and its number, seller info, purchase description, total purchase costs, tracking number, Taxes or VAT.

There’s another method you can use if you live in Europe. The idea is that when you go to the order page you will see a button where you can download the invoice. Keep in mind that you still have 15 days to return the item.
